Privacy Policy

Effective July 4, 2019. California privacy rights section added October 29, 2026.

The Marzolf Company respects your privacy and the purpose for which our site visitors provide us information. We do not sell or rent your information. We share limited data with the service providers described below.

Information Collected

If you request or submit information to us by sending an e-mail via the "info@marzolf.com" function or filling out a "contact" form, we may save your e-mail address as well as any other information you may provide. This information may be used to contact you in the future by mail, e-mail, or phone to convey information about our solutions or services that we feel may benefit you. Your e-mail and other information you provide will not be sold to any third party.

Information Collected by Others

This notice addresses only the policy of The Marzolf Company's website and not sites that users access via links from our site. The Marzolf Company is not responsible for the information collection policies of other sites, nor for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our website, nor for the information or content contained therein. Often links to other websites are provided solely as pointers to information on topics that may be useful to our visitors. Users are advised to review the privacy policy of other websites.

Cookies

The Marzolf Company's website does use cookies.

Cookies and tracking

marzolf.com uses two kinds of cookies and similar identifiers, both set by third-party tags. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) tell us which pages are visited and how the site performs. Advertising cookies (Google Ads conversion measurement, plus the call tracking and session scripts from our lead management platform, Engage, served from leadconnectorhq.com) let us see which advertising brought a visitor who then called or requested a quote, and show the phone number tied to that source. The site itself sets no cookies for ordinary visitors; the quote list you build stays in your browser until you send it.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland see both kinds switched off until they choose Accept in the cookie banner. Everywhere else, Google's tags are on by default and can be switched off with Decline. The Engage call tracking scripts load by default only after the site has confirmed your country is outside those regions; if your country cannot be confirmed within a moment, or the check fails, they stay off until you choose Accept. When you decline, Google's tags run in a consent-denied mode that sets no cookies and stores no identifiers, and the Engage scripts do not load on later pages. If you decline after the Engage scripts have already run on the page, the site deletes the Engage cookies and browser storage it can reach and reloads the page without them. Your choice and the date you made it are stored in your browser under the name marzolf-cookie-consent, and nowhere else.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button below, or by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.

Your California privacy rights

This section applies to visitors who live in California and adds to the rest of this policy. It describes what marzolf.com collects and what you can ask us to do about it under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

What we collect. When you send a quote request or a contact message, we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number, company, the products and quantities you list, your message, and any drawing or file you attach. To stop spam we also keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) copy of your IP address, not the address itself. While you browse, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Engage call tracking scripts collect the pages you visit, the ad that brought you to the site, and device and browser details, as described under Cookies and tracking. The site looks up your country from your IP address to decide which cookie defaults apply. We do not collect sensitive personal information as California law defines it.

Where it goes. Quote requests and contact messages are stored in our database (Supabase), entered into our lead management platform (Engage), and sent to our team by email through Mailtrap. Attached files are stored with our hosting provider, Vercel, which also runs a page view count that sets no cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a quote request or contact message comes from a person; it runs only on those forms and sees browser and device details for that check. These companies handle the information for us, to run the site and answer your request. We use the information to reply to you, prepare quotes, follow up on your request, and see which advertising brings us customers.

Selling and sharing. We do not sell your personal information for money. California law also treats some advertising cookies as "sharing" personal information. The Google Ads conversion tags and the Engage call tracking scripts may count as sharing. You can opt out of that sharing at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page (linked in the footer of every page), by choosing Decline in the cookie banner, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as Decline. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Your rights. You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have collected about you, to give you a copy of it, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also opt out of sharing as described above. We will not treat you differently, charge you a different price, or give you a different level of service for using these rights.

How to ask. Email info@marzolf.com or call 715-426-5705. To protect your information, we will confirm the request comes from you by matching the email address or phone number you used with us. Someone you authorize can make a request for you if they show us your written permission. We will answer within 45 days.

Updating, Correcting, and Deleting Personal Information

If you would like to have your personal information removed from our records, please send an e-mail with "Remove personal information" in the subject line.

Legally Compelled Disclosure of Information

The Marzolf Company may disclose information when legally compelled to do so; in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights.

Periodic Policy Changes

Please note that The Marzolf Company reviews its privacy practices from time-to-time (i.e. to track technology and/or legal changes), and that these practices are subject to change. To ensure continuing familiarity with the most current version of our privacy policy, please bookmark and periodically review this page.

This policy statement is made in the name of The Marzolf Company and is effective as of July 4, 2019. This statement does not create an agreement between Marzolf Flanges and users, and as such, does not create any legal rights for any party.
